The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 21, 2024, issued the notification regarding the early redemption facility for SGBs held in Physical Mode from April 2024 to September 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Annexure 1 states the calendar for premature redemption during April 2024 – September 2024.
• The facility for SGB Early Redemption shall be available as per the table stated in the notification.
• Only those investors who have successfully applied in respective SGB Series in Physical Mode and received SGB units can participate in SGB early redemption.
• Partial redemption shall be allowed. Modification and cancellation shall be allowed only during the redemption period.
