The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 19, 2024, issued a corrigendum to the notification no. HQ-PUB-BIS (499) dated January 11, 2023, relating to the date of withdrawal of the Indian standard particulars related to Valve fittings for compressed gas cylinders excluding liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders.
The following has been amended namely: -
• In SI No. 01 relating to IS 3224 : 2002 Valve fittings for compressed gas cylinders excluding liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, in column (5) states the date of withdrawal under the schedule – substitute ‘22 December 2024’ for ‘22 December 2023’.
