Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Government of Goa on March 21, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Amendment to Goa Value Added Tax, 2005.

This shall come into force on April 01, 2024.

The following has been amended namely: -

• In Schedule C, entry (2) which states “Rate of tax at 20% for Country liquor as defined in the Goa Excise Duty Act, 1964 (Act 5 of 1964)”, has been substituted by “Aviation Turbine Fuel other than covered by entry (1) at 15%”.
