BSE notified regarding the Introduction of Trading in T+0 rolling settlement cycle in Equity Segment

Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on March 22, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Introduction of Trading in the T+0 rolling settlement cycle in the Equity Segment.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Exchange shall introduce trading in securities under the T+0 settlement mechanism with effect from March 28, 2024. 

• The trading parameters for the same have been stated in the notification.

• The additional trading rules have been stated namely: -

o At every recalibration of the price band, all outstanding orders outside the revised price band shall be canceled with the error message “Order Returned - Out of price band”.

o Any CP code or INST order shall be canceled with the error message “CP code not allowed for T+0 securities”.

o There shall be no separate close price for securities T+0 settled securities. The Close price applicable for T+1 settled security shall also be applicable for the corresponding T+0 settled security.
