The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 21, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Indian Standard Particulars date of Establishment and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force.
The following has been stated: -
•IS 5402 (Part 1): 2021/ISO 4833-1: 2013 Microbiology of the Food Chain — Horizontal Method for the Enumeration of Microorganisms Part 1 Colony Count at 30 degrees Celsius by the Pour Plate Technique (Third Revision)
•IS 17383: 2020/ISO 11133: 2014 Microbiology of Food, Animal Feed and Water — Preparation, Production, Storage and Performance Testing of Culture Media
•IS 5402 (Part 2): 2021/ISO 4833-2: 2013 Microbiology of the Food Chain — Horizontal Method for the Enumeration of Microorganisms Part 2 Colony Count at 30 degrees Celsius by the Surface Plating Technique (Third Revision)
For the above-mentioned Indian standard particular date of Establishment of the Amendment is March 15, 2024, and the date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force is April 14, 2024.
