CBIC amends notification on Agreements on 'Cooperation and Mutual Administrative Assistance (CMAA) in Customs matters' of India with other countries

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on March 15, 2024, issued the amendment to notification no. 58/2021-Customs (N.T.), dated July 01, 2021, which states “Agreements or Arrangements on 'Cooperation and Mutual Administrative Assistance (CMAA) in Customs matters' of India with other countries.”

The following has been amended namely: -

• In the said notification, in the TABLE, after S. No. 16 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely: -

“16A – Republic of Armenia – Agreement between the Government of the Republic of  India  and  the  Government  of  the  Republic  of Armenia  on  co-operation  and  mutual  assistance  in Customs matters."
