The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on March 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the date of Establishment and Date of Withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Petroleum and its Products.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Establishment shall be March 19, 2024: -
• IS 1448 (Part 127) : 2024 Petroleum and its Products — Methods of Test Part 127 Determination of Iron in Petroleum Coke (First Revision).
• IS 5062 (Part 7) : 2024 ISO 5073 : 2021 Brown Coals and Lignites — Methods of Test Part 7 Determination of Humic Acids (First Revision).
• IS 6241 : 2024 Determination of Stripping Value of Road Aggregates — Method of Test (First Revision).
• IS 7190 (Part 1) : 2024 ISO 567 : 2021 Coke — Methods of Test Part 1 Determination of Bulk Density in a Small Container (Second Revision).
• IS 11203 : 2024 ISO 2033 : 1983 Coding of Machine Readable Characters (MICR and OCR) for Information Processing (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be April 19, 2024: -
• IS 1448 [P : 127] : 1988 Methods of Test for Petroleum and its Products [P : 127] Determination of Iron in Petroleum Coke.
• IS 5062 (Part 7) : 2017 ISO 5073 : 2013 Methods of Test for Brown Coals and Lignites Part 7 Determination of Humic Acids.
