The Government of India, on April 03, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (Three Hundred and Seventy-sixth Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.
This shall come into force on April 03, 2024.
The following has been amended namely, -
• In the Schedule II, which states “ministry of fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying (matsyapalan, pashupalan aur dairy mantryalaya)”, under the sub-heading “A. Department of fisheries (matsyapalan vibhag)”, after entry 8, a new entry shall be inserted, “8A. Promotion of seaweeds cultivation and associated activities, industrial applications, marketing, import including exotics, quarantine, etc.”.
