Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on April 05, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Supply of essential commodities to the Republic of Maldives during the year 2024-2025.

The following has been stated namely, -

• It states that the Central Govt. has allowed the export of eggs, potatoes, onions, rice, wheat flour, sugar, dal, stone aggregate, and river sand to the Republic of Maldives during the FY 2024-25, under a bilateral trade agreement between Govt. of India and Govt. of Maldives.

• It specifies that the export of stone aggregates and river sand shall only be allowed to exporters having necessary environmental clearances and no objection certificate.

Kindly refer to the attached document to know about the allowed quantity of commodities as mentioned above.
