The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on April 05, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Extension in import period for Yellow Peas under ITC (HS) Code 07131010 of Chapter 07 of ITC (HS), 2022, Schedule –I (Import Policy).
The following has been stated namely, -
• It states that yellow peas import under ITC (HS) code 07131010 shall be "free" now without MIP and port restrictions but subject to the Online Import Monitoring System with immediate effect until June 30, 2024.
• It specifies that all yellow peas imports with the bill of lading dated on or before June 30, 2024, require compulsory registration under the Online Import Monitoring System.
