The Government of Lakshadweep on March 14, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Lakshadweep Khadi and Village Industries Board (Amendment) Rules, 2014.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 4 (a) substituted for the Rule 6 (1) and proviso thereunder, the following sub-rules and proviso shall be substituted, namely:
“The Chairman and Vice Chairman shall be entitled to receive remuneration at the rate of Rs. 6000/- and Rs. 5000/- respectively per month during the whole time of the office and shall also be entitled to receive daily allowance for each day of the sitting of the Board at the same rate as applicable to the first-grade officers under the Lakshadweep Administration.”
They shall come into force on March 14, 2024.
