The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on April 02, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Regularization of Casual Workers.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The DoPT has agreed to implement the Regularization of Casual Workers subject to the following conditions:
o The CCAs shall ensure that all such similarly placed casual workers satisfy the mandatory conditions for regularisation
o The casual workers had been working against the sanctioned posts for ten years or more on April 10, 2006, but not under cover of Orders of Courts or Tribunals.
• Regularizing services have been directed to similarly placed casual workers eligible for regularisation across various CCA regions of the Department.
