The Government of Maharashtra on April 03, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of Public Holiday on account of the General Elections 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•It is being informed that Public Holiday on account of the General Election of 2024 in the concerned Parliamentary Constituencies indicated in the Schedule below has been declared.
•The public holiday will also apply and be available to the registered voters of the poll-bound areas even if they are working outside the territorial limits of such areas, notwithstanding whether or not such voters belong to Central or State Government Offices, Central/State Government undertakings or other entities.
