Industry Specific ComplianceThe Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) on April 10, 2024, notified regarding the Supersession of DGS Order No. 06 of 2024 - Issue of E-Migrations of Indian Seafarers due to the Technical Upgradation of E-Migrate Portal.

The following has been stated namely, - 

• It states that this order shall supersede the DGS Order No. 06 of 2024 dated March 20, 2024, https://www.dgshipping.gov.in/writereaddata/ShippingNotices/202403251046119610560DGSOrderNo06of2024.pdf.

• It specifies that the integration of the Directorate's e-Migration System with the Ministry of External Affairs' e-Migration System V2 has been completed.

• It mentions that the upgraded online system enables stakeholders to upload seafarers' e-Migration details, with automatic generation of e-Migration Numbers after successful submission.
