The Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) on April 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the introduction of the Category - National Common Mobility Card (NCMC).
The following has been stated: -
•Bharat Bill Payment System is pleased to inform the participants about the introduction of a new category – National Common Mobility Card- for recharges.
•The category will enable customers to top-up their NCMC Card wallet (on Prepaid Cards/ Credit Cards/ Debit Cards) through Customer BBPOUs / Agent Institutions.
•The participants are requested to implement “NCMC Recharge” as a new category and ensure system preparedness as per the Approach note and API document given in Annexures.
