The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) on April 25, 2024, notified Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Second Amendment Regulations, 2024 further to amend the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Technical Standards and Specifications including Safety Standards for City or Local Natural Gas Distribution Networks) Regulations, 2008.
The following has been stated: -
•In Annexure-II, under the head of “Metering Equipment”:
i.In the row relating to “OIML R137-1&2”, the words “Thermal Mass Flow” and the words “conforming to ISO 14511”, shall be deleted; and ii. At the end after the row “ISO 10790” and the words “Measurement of fluid flow in closed conduits- Guidance to the selection, installation, and use of Coriolis flowmeters (mass flow, density, and volume flow measurements)”, three rows shall be inserted which are given below.
They shall come into force on April 26, 2024.
