The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) on April 26, 2024, issued the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (Mechanism for Making and Review of Regulations) Regulations, 2024.
The following regulations have been stated:
• Periodic review of regulations
• Public consultation
• Economic analysis
• Constitution and composition of the Regulations Advisory Committee
• Scope of review by the Committee
• Meetings of the Committee
• Recommendations of the Committee
• Urgent Regulations
These regulations shall come into force on April 26, 2024.
These regulations shall not apply to regulations made by the Authority concerning its organizational matters.
