The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on April 25, 2024, issued a notification regarding the date of Establishment and Date of Withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Resins for Paints.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be April 22, 2024, -
• IS 354 (Part 4) : 2024 Resins for Paints — Methods of Sampling and Test Part 4 Special Test Methods for Epoxy Resins (Third Revision).
• IS 354 (Part 5) : 2024 Resins for Paints — Methods of Sampling and Test Part 5 Special Test Methods for Polyamide Resins (Third Revision).
• IS 2267 (Part 2) : 2024 ISO 24022-2 : 2020 Polystyrene (PS) Moulding and Extrusion Materials Part 2 Preparation of Test Specimens and Determination of Properties (Third Revision).
• IS 4311 : 2024 ISO 602 : 2015 Coal — Determination of Mineral Matter (First Revision).
• IS 5785 (Part 1) : 2024 Surface Active Agents — Methods of Test Part 1 Relative Dispersing Power (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be July 22, 2024: -
• IS 354 (Part 4) - 1986 Methods of Sampling and Test for Resins for Paints Part 4 Special Test Methods for Epoxy Resins (Second Revision).
• IS 354 (Part 5) - 1986 Methods of Sampling and Test for Resins for Paints Part 5 Special Test Methods for Polyamide Resins (Second Revision).
• IS 2267 : 1995 Polystyrene Moulding and Extrusion Materials — Specification (Second Revision).
• IS 4311 - 1967 Method for the Determination of Mineral Matter in Coal.
• IS 5785 (Part I) - 1970 Methods for Performance Tests for Surface Active Agents Part I Relative Dispersing Power.
