The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) on April 30, 2024, issued an application for amendment of Detonator manufacturing licenses granted under LE-1 of Explosives Rules, 2008 — phasing out of Electric Detonators.
All the detonator manufacturers are hereby advised to apply paperless mode (online) to Head Office, PESO, Nagpur for amendment of their detonator manufacturing license(s) in respect of manufacturing quantity for the financial year 2024-2025.
This amendment is required to achieve 100% phasing out of Electric Detonators by the end of the financial year 2024-2025. The online application shall be made by uploading all necessary documents and submitting fees through the online module to this office by May 03, 2024.
