The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on April 30, 2024, amended an older notification No.77/2023 Customs (N.T.), dated October 20, 2023, related to the determination of the rates of drawback for various tariff items.
The following has been stated: -
•In the notification, -
(I)In the Notes and conditions, after paragraph 13, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - “(13A) The term “counts” wherever used in Chapter 52 shall mean “counts in New English (Ne)”
(II)In the Schedule, chapter 3, chapter 16, chapter 42, and others have been substituted.
This notification shall come into force from May 03, 2024.
