The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on May 02, 2024, notified the Renewal of Broker Indemnity Insurance Policy.
Active Trading Members are required to renew their Indemnity Insurance Policy with a minimum sum insured of Rs. 5 lakhs and upload the policy document and details onto the BEFS portal within 30 days of the expiry of the current policy. Failure to do so will result in non-compliance and a daily late submission charge of Rs. 100 until the updated policy proof is uploaded on the BEFS portal. Alert emails are being automated to remind Trading Members to submit the policy details through BEFS; once submitted, they can disregard further alert emails.
