Industry Specific ComplianceThe Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda on April 29, 2024, issued the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (Diploma in Pharmacy – Ayurveda) Regulations 2024.

This shall come into force on May 02, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states the minimum qualification for admission as:

o candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the case of the General category and EWS and 40% marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Other Backward Classes.

• It specifies that no candidate shall be admitted to the Diploma Course unless he or she has attained the age of 17 years on or before December 31st of the year of admission in the first year of the course.

• It states that students shall have to pay an annual fee like admission fee, college fee, examination fee, tuition fee and other fees notified by the Institute.

• It specifies that students shall participate in various activities including Workshops, Seminars, Yoga Shibira, Sports and Cultural activities and Drug tour organised by the Institute.

• It states that the Diploma shall extend over a period of two academic years,  and the student shall be awarded Diploma after passing all the examinations and completion of the prescribed course of study.
