The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on May 03, 2024, amended older notifications related to the Customs duty on certain goods.
The following has been stated: -
•In notification No. 27/2011-Customs, dated March 01, 2011, which is related to the exemption of customs duty on goods when exported out of India in the TABLE, against S. No. 1, in column (4), for the entry, the entry “40%” shall be substituted.
•In notification No. 48/2021-Customs, dated October 13, 2021, which is about concessional import duties in the TABLE, after S. No. 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:
Entry no. 7 Bengal gram (desi chana).
This notification shall come into force from May 04, 2024.
