Finance & Taxation Compliance The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on May 04, 2024, notified regarding the Amendment in the Export policy of Onions.

The following has been stated:

• The export policy of Onions is amended from 'prohibited' to 'free" subject to MEP of USD 550 per Metric Ton (MT) with immediate effect and until further orders.

This notification will come into force from May 06, 2024.
