The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on February 29, 2024, issued guidelines/explanations to the Spectrum Usages Charges order O.M. No. P-11014/34/2009-PP dated December 11, 2023, for Assignment of Frequencies to Captive Users (Being charged on a formula basis) for different types of Radio Communication Services.
The following has been stated: -
•Based on queries from various stakeholders, the guidelines/ explanations mentioned against the given Schedules of the O.M. No. P- 11014/34/2009-PP dated December 11, 2023, are issued for making a better understanding of the order.
The list of Schedules is as follows: -
Schedule-II Land Mobile Services in LF/MF/HF/VHF/ UHF bands (Bandwidth up to 375 KHz)
Schedule-IV: Aeronautical Mobile Service in LF/MF/HF/VHF /UHF bands
Schedule-VII: Satellite-based Services
