The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) on May 03, 2024, issued a notification regarding extending APY to all CRAs.
The other two registered CRAs are mentioned below:
•Computer Age Management Services Ltd. (CAMS)
•KFin Technologies Ltd.
To promote competition and ensure fairness among CRAs registered with PFRDA, it has been decided to grant Point of Presence (PoP) registered with the Authority the choice to select a CRA of their preference, including the option to engage multiple CRAs to serve APY subscribers. Charges for APY-related services provided by CRAs are specified.
This selection of CRA by PoP remains voluntary. Additionally, APY subscribers can opt to choose a CRA from those available through the PoP. Portability is permitted for subscribers within their PoP, whether they are existing or new.
The contact details of CRAs are provided in an annexure for better coordination. Both PoPs and CRAs are accountable for all data, including timely sharing of MIS with relevant stakeholders. To ensure informed decisions, PoPs and CRAs will host information regarding applicable charges and other pertinent details for APY subscribers on their respective websites.
