The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) on March 11, 2024, notified the Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code) Regulation, 2024 repealing the Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code) Regulation, 2020.
The following has been stated: -
•Section 1 lays down various Definitions and Interpretations of the terms like Arrears of charges and area of Supply.
•Section 2 specifies the System of Supply and Classification of Consumers.
•Section 3 is about the Requisitions of Supply and Procedure for New and Modification in Existing Connection.
•Section 4 mentions about the Recovery of Charges.
These regulations shall come into force from March 11, 2024.
