The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on May 09, 2024, issued a notification regarding the extension of the ISO Settlement Scheme, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•In continuation to the Exchange Notice No. 20240307-1 dated March 07, 2024, SEBI had introduced the ISO Settlement Scheme, 2024 in terms of Regulation 26 of SEBI (Settlement Proceedings) Regulations, 2018 which provides a settlement opportunity to those entities that have executed trade reversals in the stock options segment of BSE during the period April 1, 2014, to September 30, 2015 and against whom adjudication proceedings have been initiated and are pending before any forum or authority.
•This settlement period commenced on March 11, 2024, and was to end on May 10, 2024.
•Due to a large number of entities showing interest in availing of the Scheme the competent authority has extended the period of the Scheme till June 10, 2024.
