The Government of Kerala on May 09, 2024, issued a circular regarding general education -Post Determination guidelines for Accurately Entering State 6th Working Day Data of Academic Year 2024-25.
The following has been stated: -
•The guidelines are issued to the Head Teachers and Education Officers concerned to accurately record the 6th working day information in respect of post determination for the year 2024-25. The information should be recorded in full only by strictly following the instructions.
•All Managers and Headmasters are informed in advance that if a valid UID is not added to the complete by the 6th working day, such a number of children will not be considered for posting. As UID is mandatory for post determination.
•In the academic year 2023-24, the recruitment of posts for the year 2024-25 of all the schools in the state should be conducted through the same online platform. Only children with full UID need to be considered for the post.
•The Headmaster should take special care to ensure that all the children on the roll have UID on the 6th working day as detailed checks on post-determination will be done at various levels. However, no child should be denied school admission or benefits (scholarship, uniform, mid-day meal, financial or other benefits, etc.) to which they are entitled due to lack of UID.
•The post-selection process is to be completed with effect from July 15, 2024.
•Annual maintenance of school buildings shall be completed before May 15, 2024. All Government/Aided/Unaided Schools including Pre-Primary shall compulsorily procure and maintain fitness certificates issued by Engineers of Local Self-Government bodies.
•If the school is found to be operating without adequate fitness certificate, it will be treated as serious misconduct and disciplinary action will be taken against the concerned as per rules.
•The concerned Deputy Directors of Education should ensure that the Circular containing the above instructions is made available to all Managers, Headmasters, and Education Officers respectively.
