The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on May 10, 2024, notified regarding the Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report (BRSR) – FAQs & General Observations / Guidelines for filing of BRSR.
This is in reference to SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-SEC-2/P/CIR/2023/122 dated July 12, 2023, which requires the Top 1000 listed entities, based on market capitalization, to submit BRSR as per the updated format specified by SEBI.
The following has been stated:
• It has annexed the BRSR FAQs/Guidelines along with General Observations based on the filing of BRSR for last year.
• The companies are requested to comply with the requirement of listing regulations and other applicable regulations as amended from time to time.
