The Government of Madhya Pradesh on April 01, 2024, issued a circular regarding an amendment in the unskilled wage rate provided to workers under Mahatma Gandhi NREGA.
The following has been stated: -
•In Reference to the Government of India, Ministry of Rural Development Notification No. 1481, dated March 27, 2024, the wage rate provided to unskilled workers under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme has been revised. The daily wage rate of unskilled manual workers under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme in Madhya Pradesh has been fixed at Rs 243/-.
•This wage rate will be effective from April 01, 2024.
