The Government of Himachal Pradesh on March 07, 2024, issued the Processing/Administrative charges for the grant of EC to the Project Proponents for Category-'B' projects.
The State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Himachal Pradesh has been constituted by MoEF&CC, GoI in pursuance to EIA Notification, 2006 for granting Environmental Clearance (EC) to the Category 'B' Projects in Himachal Pradesh.
The State Level Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Himachal Pradesh through its Member Secretary-cum-Director (EST&CC) has sent a proposal to the Government in accordance with its decision in the 27th Meeting held on June 10, 2016, to levy Processing/Administrative charges for grant of Environment Clearances on the analogy in other states such as Odissa, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra etc.
Therefore, after careful examination of the proposal, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh is pleased to permit SEIAA, Himachal Pradesh to collect Processing/Administrative charges at the rate as given in the table for the grant of EC to the Project Proponents for Category-'B' projects.
