The Port Authority of Visakhapatnam on April 22, 2024, issued a draft notification for the new SOR/VPA related to Cargo Handling Service.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It is in reference to the gazette notification no. 72 dated April 29, 2023, related to Definitions and General Terms and Conditions of Scale of Rates Visakhapatnam Port Authority.
• It specifies that clause no. 4.6.2.1 of the VPA Scale of Rates which states "For all cargo services where Labour is supplied", shall be substituted with "For all cargo services where Labour is supplied (Rate per Tonne per operation)".
