NSE issued a clarification on MIDCPNIFTY Expiry Day

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 14, 2024, issued a clarification on MIDCPNIFTY Expiry Day.

Exchange circular vide NSE/FAOP/61517 had notified Monday, May 20, 2024, as a trading holiday on account of the Parliamentary Elections in Mumbai. Accordingly, the MIDCPNIFTY Derivatives weekly expiration contract was generated with an expiry day on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Exchange vide circular NSE/MSD/61893 dated May 7, 2024, announced a special live trading session with an intraday switchover from the Primary site to the Disaster Recovery site on Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Equity and Equity Derivatives segments.

Members may please note that there is no change in MIDCPNIFTY Derivatives expiry day on account of the special live trading session on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

MIDCPNIFTY Derivatives expiry day will continue to be on Friday, May 17, 2024.
