Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Communications on May 14, 2024, issued an advisory to citizens not to take any fake calls that threaten to disconnect their mobile numbers.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It has advised citizens to stay vigilant and report such fraud communications at the ‘Chakshu – Report Suspected Fraud Communications’ facility of the Sanchar Saathi portal (www.sancharsaathi.gov.in/sfc).

• It has advised citizens to report at cyber-crime helpline number 1930 or www.cybercrime.gov.in in case of already a victim of cyber-crime or financial fraud.
