The Government of Himachal Pradesh on March 15, 2024, notified an amendment to Punjab Brewery Rules, 1932 as amended from time to time, as applicable in Himachal Pradesh.
The following has been said-
•In the said rules, a new sub-rule 10.28 (9) is added after sub-rule 10.28 (8) under rule 10.28 which is as under:- “The shelf life of Beer will be nine months subject to the condition that the licensee shall have to furnish a certificate from the govt. authorized laboratory and requisite certificate from FSSAI/Competent authority”.
These rules will come into effect from April 01, 2024.
