The Department of Excise and Taxation, Govt of Himachal Pradesh on March 15, 2024, issued a notification regarding amendments in the Himachal Pradesh Liquor License Rules, 1986.
The following amendments have been made: -
•In the rules, the sub-rule 38 (1-BB) (vii) under rule 38 is substituted.
•A new sub-rule 31 (vi) after sub-rule 31 (v) under rule 37 is added which is as under: -
“The shelf life of Beer will be nine months’ subject to the condition that the licensee shall have to furnish a certificate from the govt. authorized laboratory and requisite certificate from FSSAI/Competent authority”.
The amendment will come into force with effect from April 01, 2024.
