The Government of Himachal Pradesh on March 15, 2024, issued amendments in the Punjab Brewery Rules, 1956.
This shall come into force on April 01, 2024.
The following has been amended namely: -
• In the rule 10.5, sub-rule 10.5 (C), which states “The letter of intent for the establishment of brewery project shall be granted subject to payment of Rs.5000/- and every extension allowed thereafter shall be subject to payment of Rs.1000/- each.” shall be substituted with –
“The letter of intent for the establishment of Brewery project shall be granted subject to payment of Rs.5,00,000/- (Five Lakh only) and every extension in time, allowed thereafter shall be subject to payment of Rs.1,00,000/- each”.
