The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), on May 17, 2024, notified the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The following has been stated-
•In regulation 3 sub-regulation (2) shall be substituted with the (2) The applicability of the provisions of these regulations to a listed entity on the basis of market capitalisation shall be determined sub-regulation.
•In regulation 3 after sub-regulation (2), the following new sub-regulations (2A) and 2(B) shall be inserted.
•In regulation 15, in sub-regulation (1A),
oIn the second proviso, the words and symbols “March 31, 2024” shall be substituted by the words and symbols, “March 31, 2025”.
oIn Explanation (3), the words and symbols “March 31, 2024” shall be substituted by the words and symbols, “March 31, 2025.
•In regulation 21,
oIn sub-regulation (3C), the words “one hundred and eighty” shall be substituted by the words “two hundred and ten”;
oIn sub-regulation (5), in clause i, the words and symbols “, determined on the basis of market capitalization as at the end of the immediate preceding financial year” shall be omitted.
