The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) on May 17, 2024, notified the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission Transmission Licence Regulation, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Regulation 2 specifies various definitions of the terms like Accounting Statement and Allocation Statement.
•Regulation 3 is about the procedure for granting a Transmission Licence.
•Regulation 4 specifies the eligibility for a Transmission Licence.
•This Regulation shall apply to all transmission licensees in the State and in respect of all applications for Transmission Licence including applications pending before the Commission on the date of publication of this regulation.
•This Regulation shall be applicable to all Transmission Licensees who were granted a license under the AP Electricity Reforms Act, 1998 in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
This regulation shall come into force from May 17, 2024.
