EHS ComplianceThe Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board (MPCB) on February 07, 2024, issued the notification regarding the revised the annual Consent Fees (Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate) for mining activities for the purpose of Grant of Consent.

The following have been stated as the Fee for Consent to Establish namely: -

• Minor Minerals - Rs.0.50 (50 Paisa)/MT subject to a minimum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) only

• Major Minerals - Rs.1.50 (One Rupee Fifty Paise)/MT subject to a minimum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only

The following have been stated for Fee Consent to Operate namely: -

• Minor Minerals - Rs.0.50(50Paisa)/MT subject to a minimum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) only

• Major Minerals - Rs.1.50 (One Rupee Fifty Paise)/MT subject to a minimum of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only

This shall be in effect from February 07, 2024.
