The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on May 15, 2024, issued a notification regarding the date of Establishment and Date of Withdrawal of the Indian Standards Particulars such as Plywood for General Purposes.
In the following Indian Standard particular, the Dates of Establishment shall be May 14, 2024, -
• IS 303 : 2024 Plywood for General Purposes — Specification (Fourth Revision).
• IS 4992 : 2024 Door Handles for Mortice Locks — Specification (Second Revision).
In the following Indian Standard particular, the Dates of Withdrawal shall be February 14, 2025, -
• IS 303 : 1989 Plywood for General Purposes — Specification (Third Revision).
• IS 4992 - 1975 Specification for Door Handles for Mortice Locks (Vertical Type) (First Revision).
