The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) on May 17, 2024, notified regarding the Extension of the timeline for filing of quarterly and annual returns till June 30, 2024, under the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022 (EPR for Waste Tyre) – reg.
The following has been stated:
• It has extended the timeline for filing of quarterly and annual returns by the registered entities for FY 2023-24 till June 30, 2024.
• During this period of extension till June 30, 2024, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Certificate generation and transfer will also be carried out on the EPR portal.
