The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on May 20, 2024, issued a notification regarding submissions of complete data of the Sugar Mills and Distillery.
The following has been stated: -
•The Directorate is collecting the data on the Sugar mill and Distillery for the purpose of preparing comprehensive data regarding the Sugar Mill Distillery in terms of (both the attached sugar mill and standalone) its production capacity, Products/By-products manufactured, Co-generation and data benefit of ethanol interest subvention scheme, if applicable.
•It is requested to provide complete data in the prescribed proforma as annexed in Annexure for all units individually in the case of a group sugar mill/distillery by May 31, 2024.
