The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 22, 2024, notified regarding the List of authorized mobile applications and social media handles of Trading members.
The following has been stated:
• It has requested all trading members dealing in clientele business to provide the names of IOS and Android-based mobile applications hosted by them with URL links of the Play Store of the respective Mobile Applications (Android/IOS-based applications) and the Social media handles.
• The Trading members are requested to provide the details of Mobile applications and social media handles in the format provided below as Annexure A and Annexure B respectively. The user manual for submission through the online portal is attached as Annexure C.
• The Members are advised to provide the following details of the Mobile application/s to the Exchange on an immediate basis but not later than fifteen days with respect to the following:
o Mobile application/s hosted on Play Store/App Store
o Any modifications carried out to the existing mobile applications
o Addition of any new mobile applications
o Removal/discontinuation of any mobile application from the Play Store/App Store
• The Members must also ensure their mobile application description on the Play Store and App Store includes the following information by August 01, 2024.
o Member name:
o SEBI Registration Number:
o Member Code:
o Registered Exchange/s name:
o Exchange approved segment/s:
• It has further stated that any mobile applications not featuring in the details submitted to the Exchange shall be liable for removal from the Play Store by Google and App Store by Apple.
