The Government of Kerala on May 23, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Trawling Ban from June 10 to July 31

The following has been stated namely: -

• A trawling ban has been imposed in the state for 52 days, from June 10 to July 31.

• Only one carrier boat will be allowed to accompany each inboard boat during the trawling ban period.

• All coastal districts have established 24-hour control rooms.
