The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on May 24, 2024, issued an update regarding the Standardization of Exchange to Member Interface files in Unified Distilled File Formats (UDiFF).
The following has been stated:
• The Change in ISO Tags for dummy fields provided in Exchange downloaded UDiFF Trade and Bhavcopy File is specified in the Table.
o It is proposed to make aforesaid changes live from Monday, June 03, 2024, end of the day in the Equity, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives & Commodity Derivatives segments.
• Splitting of Trade file where record is more than 1 crore
o The Splitting facility shall be applicable to all members and shall not be a member-specific facility. Kindly refer to Annexure D for the detailed mechanism of splitting, the nomenclature of the split file & sample trigger file.
o It is proposed to make aforesaid changes live from Monday, July 08, 2024, end of day in Equity, Equity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives & Commodity Derivatives.
