The Government of Madhya Pradesh on May 24, 2024, issued a notification regarding the minimum wage rates including variable dearness allowance for the workers of the state.
The following has been stated: -
•The increase of (400-386) = 14 average points above the average (386) of the All India Consumer Price Index accepted in the last six months, the Variable Dearness Allowance has increased by Rs 350/- per month.
•The minimum wage rates, including variable dearness allowance will be effective from April 01, 2024, for the workers of the state under the Minimum Wage Act, of 1948.
