The Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (HPERC) on May 22, 2024, issued the Draft Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Recovery of Expenditure for Supply of Electricity) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 2024, to further amend the e Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Recovery of Expenditure for Supply of Electricity) Regulations, 2012.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Regulation 13 – “Standard Cost Data” shall be substituted, and the new Regulation 13 – “Standard Cost Data” states that the distribution licensee shall annually prepare, publicly review, finalize, and upload the standard cost data book by March 15, making it effective from the next financial year and available for public access.
• In Regulation 21, for words, brackets, signs and figures “Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Licensee’s Duty for supply of Electricity on Request) Regulations, 2004”, shall be substituted with the words, signs and figures “the Himachal Pradesh Electricity Supply Code, 2009, as amended from time to time:”.
The Objections or suggestions, if any, with respect to these draft regulations shall be taken into consideration by June 22, 2024, and may be sent by post to “Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, Vidyut Aayog Bhawan, Block-37, SDA Complex, Kasumpti-171009 (HP)”.
