The Government of Himachal Pradesh on May 02, 2024, issued the notification under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying (MoFAHD) regarding the prohibition of import, breeding, and selling of twenty-four dog breeds
The following has been stated namely: -
• The written comments and objections are invited with scientific reasoning in regard to the prohibition of import, breeding, and selling of twenty-four dog breeds.
• It is clarified that the prohibition of the import, breeding, and selling of twenty-four dog breeds, shall not be enforced until further order.
• Comments must be submitted latest by June 01, 2024. The comments may be sent through registered post to the prescribed address
